ITEMS WE CAN'T ACCEPT
We are a non-hazardous transfer station, as such we cannot accept any certain items within the skip. Surcharges will apply should any of these items be found when the skip has been returned to the transfer station, tipped and sorted in the shed. Either the skip will have to be returned or the items will have to be collected by you, by close of business the same day.
The contents of the skip are the responsibility of the hirer.

Hardcore and soil will need to be in a separate skip (cheaper rates will apply) or in a dump bag. We can provide these bags at £5 per bag, please ask.
A mixed waste skip will now exclude hardcore and soil, unless a small amount is bagged separately. Plasterboard must still be bagged separately.
No active waste including food, animal faeces etc can be accepted in any skip and we do not accept man made roof tiles.
Skips found containing prohibited items will be returned with additional surcharges.

The following items are prohibited and listed on the delivery ticket.
If we identify any of the items below in your skip when we return to the yard we will notify you. We can arrange to return the item (charges apply) to you or arrange the proper disposal at an extra cost. These items must be collected by you before the close of business the same day to avoid charges. |
